The remarkable snaps appear to show an alien craft floating above the ground with a helicopter close by.

The images – claimed to have been taken in the Californian desert – have been described as “the most controversial UFO photos on record”.

The man, Keith Bradshaw, released the images in a bid to open the lid on the existence of extraterrestrials.
